About Us

WPO, which stands for World Peace Organization, has been operationally dedicated to humanitarian and peace-building activities since 1997 in various countries that have committed to membership in the WPO.

The establishment of the WPO was a necessity for a world longing for true peace. The WPO founders were fully aware that the existence of a legally recognized organization was a shared desire, ensuring that world peace would not be hidden in the wilderness, lacking legitimacy from the global community. The founders hoped that WPO activities would become formal and acceptable to every nation and world peace organization community wherever they are located. Thus, the universality of World Peace would serve as a reference and framework that served as the operational basis for every peace community that became a member of this organization.

The World Peace Organization (WPO) was legally registered in the jurisdiction of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945. It was established as a non-profit entity engaged in social, humanitarian, and world peace activities. All of its activities are oriented towards resolving various conflicts, humanitarian issues, and world peace. It strives to be a harmonizer in realizing peace within a new paradigm, namely the brotherhood of all humanity on earth into a global community based on eternal peace on one earth. The WPO is an independent, non-governmental, and non-profit organization based on the pillars of world peace in the fields of health, education for community development, and social welfare. Overall, it is an integral part of the world peace moral movement. It always establishes and builds active cooperation with various other international and national world peace movement communities that are actively affiliated with the governments where the organization is located.

The WPO is a growing and developing international World Peace Organization, whose members consist of various peace communities from 202 countries. They are required to maintain harmonious relationships, communication, and good organizational emotional ties with the governments of each country where the peace communities are located within the jurisdiction of each country where each member is located.

WPO members must ensure that their organizations represent the interests of their respective countries and actively participate in world peace campaigns conducted throughout the world.

The establishment of the World Peace Organization was initiated by a number of prominent figures and activists of the World Peace Moral Movement from various countries who share similar views and interests in national and state life, aiming to create a world order based on the independence of each nation, lasting peace, and the achievement of social justice and the welfare of the global community. They also protect human rights from various forms of human rights violations through various peace campaign activities, the installation of world peace symbols in various parts of the world, and the importance of realizing peace towards a better future, namely World Peace towards a new civilization.

While peace initiatives are not a new idea, the establishment of the WPO has become crucial and strategic amidst instability and rising tensions in relations between several countries caused by shifting geopolitical interests and recent agitation around the world.

The purpose of establishing the WPO is to harmonize the realization of world peace, by reducing the factors causing conflict between countries, realizing a life between nations that is based on mutual respect for one another, creating sustainable harmony in relations between countries and actively contributing to creating world order.
